朱家川属于黄河干流水系，位于保德县境内。
河流概况
朱家川是从山西省西北部黄土地区流人黄河的一条比较大的支流，流域范围大致北抵楼山，东至黑驼山及吕梁山，南达嵐山地；河流发源于黑驼山，作自东而西的方向流入黄河。
